VP of HR Technology, Operations & Workforce Analytics
Company: Boston Children’s Hospital
- Collaborate with IT to develop and execute HR technology roadmap to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Develop metrics to gauge effectiveness of HR technologies and processes; identify opportunities to streamline and standardize workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and ensure legal compliance.
- Work with IT to review the efficacy and relevance of HR systems and recommend modifications as part of IT Governance.
- Lead the development of workforce analytics and labor productivity strategy, identifying key metrics, dashboards, and analytical tools required to drive organizational insights, predict outcomes, and improve the time to decision.
- Partner with IT on the selection, implementation, and optimization of all HR related technology, (i.e. talent management, learning, ERP).
- Optimize people analytics through the enablement of HR systems to support strategic decision-making and create opportunities for automation and improvements in user experience.
- Lead the deployment of people analytics across the employee life cycle, including recruitment, performance management, succession planning, learning, compensation, benefits, etc.
- Develop dashboards to identify trends within workforce labor productivity data and provide actionable insights to inform talent strategies, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, gain buy-in for improvement initiatives, and drive alignment with strategic objectives.
- Lead the development of the enterprise-wide HR operations and service delivery roadmap.
- Ensure the HR Service Center (ESC) delivers efficient, accurate, and timely services to employees and managers; oversee the handling of inquiries and transactions related to HR topics, (i.e. policies, benefits, payroll, onboarding, etc.)
- Monitor ESC dashboards to identify trends to improve processes and service delivery for a best-in-class employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations and company policies. Mitigate risks associated with HR processes and transactions.
To qualify, you must have:
- BA degree in Business, Healthcare, Mathematics or Information Systems.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with significant experience in HRIS, workforce planning, and workforce analytics/management is required, with at least 5 years’ experience managing high-performing teams.
- Experience managing large cross-functional teams in a complex environment.
- Healthcare industry experience in a complex enterprise strongly preferred.
- Executive presence in communicating with all levels of the organization; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships, influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare delivery models, human capital, and an ability to translate talent strategy and workforce trends into operational practices.
- Subject matter expertise in HR and workforce analytics technologies (e.g. workforce productivity, benefits, talent acquisition, learning, compensation).
- Demonstrated success with implementation of ERP solutions.
- Experience with UKG, PeopleSoft 9.2, and Cornerstone; Lean Six Sigma or similar methodology is strongly preferred.
