VP of Benefits – AZ – On Site
Company: Vensure Employer Solutions
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the benefit administration team.
- Works with the benefit team to develop project plans and determine budgets.
- Make analytical projects and conclusions / recommendations for work the work that is conducted within the department.
- Serve as primary and daily contact to your team and attend client meetings as needed.
- Lead as appropriate for special projects, including benefit plan strategy’s, compliance, plan management projects, acquisitions.
- Assist SVP of Benefits in the development of business processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Management Skills, Organizational Skills, Teamwork, Enthusiasm, Willingness to learn, Interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Proactive, Decisive, Technical
- Significant leadership and management experience in the human resources field, with at least 15 years of human resources management preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Experience in labor relations in a union environment, including ability to negotiate and manage collective bargaining agreements, preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree or Above
- 15+ years of group benefit experience
