We seek to appoint a Teaching Fellow (0.5 FTE) to support design and delivery of new content and digitising the programme. The post reflects the University’s 2020-2030 strategy of widening participation and expanding our portfolio of fully online education to professional learners across the globe. The successful candidate will be passionate about education for social justice, inclusion and sustainable global development.

Sheffield Hallam University: 1 Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Quantity Surveying (Specialising in Measurement)

University of Leeds job You will have a first degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification or PhD in Global Development / International Education or a related discipline (this includes work submitted/ about to be submitted for assessment) and experience of contributing to the effective delivery of relevant and appropriate teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will also have substantive international experience in teaching or researching in at least one of the following areas:

  • Education in contexts of conflict, post-conflict, and for peace building;
  • Education in emergencies;
  • Youth-centred approaches to education as a human right and/or for social justice;
  • The roles of arts and humanities in re-designing education for inclusion and societal change;
  • Civil society roles in education for change and sustainable development;
  • Education programme design in a multi-stakeholder approach.
