Responsibilities
Opportunity to lead a team of Phlebotomists within our Phoenix and/or Scottsdale campus. Work areas include Inpatient or Outpatient Phlebotomy, and Float Pool, Training and Recruitment in either a Hospital or Clinic location.
Responsible for the management and development of staff. Provides oversight to, and is accountable for quality and service, Description regulatory compliance, work unit safety, strategic planning, document management, financial management and developing and implementing new services. Works cooperatively with a wide variety of customers, as well as internal and external resources. Completes special projects as assigned by the laboratory consultant/director(s), administrator and/or operations manager(s).

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree, preferably in a chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science, medical technology, healthcare management/business or a health-related field AND a minimum of four years of laboratory experience to the applicable lab area.
Additional Requirements:
Must have demonstrated leadership, communication (oral and written) and problem-solving ability. Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently. Requires human relations skills to influence and motivate others. ASCP certification or other certification pertinent to the laboratory field may be required depending on the laboratory specialty.

Inpatient: Mon-Fri daytime approximately 9am-5:30pm – or – Eve/nocs, 4, 10s approximately 7pm-5:30am to include a weekend night
Outpatient: M-F daytime, approximately 6am-2:30pm – or – M-F daytime, approximately 6:30am-3pm
Float Supervision: M-F daytime, approximately 7am-3:30pm
