Responsibilities
Supports units scheduling/staffing processes; Develops base staff schedule and maintains posted schedules, maintains Nursing Department Position Controls and performs delegated duties as determined at staffing huddles. Carries out all aspects of the job using appropriate problem-solving skills and assumes the responsibility for self-development within the role.
Qualifications
Requires successful completion of a one- or two-year degree/diploma/certification in a healthcare related field or a minimum of two years’ experience in a healthcare related field that includes a general understanding of hospital/department operations.
Additional qualifications:
Mayo Clinic experience preferred. Strong Excel skills including knowledge and prior use of formulas and data base functions. Prior experience with word processing software. Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with a variety of people. Effective, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deal with continuous multiple and complex interpersonal interactions. Demonstrates problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines within the context of highly variable workload and interruptions. Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and summarize detailed information from a variety of sources.

This will be a remote worker position following successful orientation onsite at the Eau Claire, WI campus for approximately 12 weeks.
Weekend Schedule
Every 3rd weekend and 2 holidays/year.
