Job description: Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting the month-end close process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
- Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Collaborate with team members across departments to resolve accounting issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or CPA candidate required
- 1–3 years of public accounting experience required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
