Job description: Our Kforce client located in the Saint Louis, MO. area is looking to hire a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant I to join their dynamic team This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Duties:
- Prepare general ledger entries in compliance with accounting standards using Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Manage loan schedules and execute wire transfers/ACHs for distributions, advances, and payments with proper approvals
- Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Interpret legal documents related to ground lease loans and renewable energy assets
- Maintain accurate payment data in internal databases
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding ground lease servicing
- Support annual financial audits and respond to related inquiries
- Generate management and ad hoc reports as needed
- Contribute to special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of General Ledger and Accounting experience
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication; Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Deadline-driven with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
- Meet tight deadlines with accuracy
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
