Job description: Kforce’s client, a regional growing public accounting firm in Parsippany NJ, is seeking an entry level Staff Accountant. This firm offers excellent training & opportunity to advance along with benefits and a year end bonus. Responsibilities:
- Performing audits & accounting for clients in a variety of industries
- Maintain a strong client focus by effectively serving client needs and developing productive working relationships with client personnel
- Stay abreast of new accounting pronouncements/standards, current business and economic developments and/or other guidance relevant to the client’s business
- Display teamwork, integrity, leadership, initiative and work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific engagements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA (or working toward designation) is required
- 0-1 years of previous Audit internship experience out of public accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
