Job description: Weldall Manufacturing is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, invoicing, and assisting with financial reporting. This role works closely with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial data.Role & ResponsibilitiesAssist with monthly close proceduresPrepare and enter journal entriesPerform bank and account reconciliationsMonitor and record daily cash activityMaintain fixed asset recordsGenerate customer invoices and apply paymentsAssist in preparing sales and use tax filingsHelp compile data for audits (including Workman’s Comp and 401k)Provide backup support for payroll and other cross-functional dutiesMaintain organized and accurate financial recordsRequired CompetenciesSolid understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger functionsStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and pivot tables)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsGood communication and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required1-3 years of experience in general accounting preferredExperience with Epicor ERP a plusManufacturing industry experience a plusBenefitsWe offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package that includes:
