Job description: Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This Contract role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to financial operations within the Concessions Department, focusing on payments and reconciliations.This role is 100% onsite in OKC!Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Perform comprehensive account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Generate financial statements and reports to support organizational goals.
- Assist in annual airport audits by compiling and organizing necessary documentation.
- Investigate invoice aging for airport payments through detailed reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with airports to resolve overpayments and apply credits effectively.
- Support external audits by providing required financial data and insights.
- Work closely with the team to maintain compliance with financial standards and practices.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
- Experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger management.
- Ability to prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders and internal teams.
Expected salary: $24 – 27 per hour
