Job description: Acadian Companies is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Staff Accountant position at our Kaliste Saloom location in Lafayette, LA. The schedule is Monday – Friday.Responsibilities consist of a variety of general accounting tasks that include:
- cash management
- bank reconciliation
- journal entries
- report preparation
- month-end closing
- audit preparation
- tax preparation
- fixed asset management
Qualified candidates will possess:
- BS in Accounting
- Accounting experience preferred
- excellent computer skills
- mastery of MS Excel and Word
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong math skills
- organization and attention to detail
- outstanding interpersonal skills
