Job description: Job Title: Staff Accountant
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the accounting functions including Accounts Payable and account reconciliations.Responsibilities:Assist with monthly accruals and general ledger entriesPost and adjust accounts receivable transactionsPerform bank reconciliationsManage full-cycle accounts payable processingGenerate weekly AR reports for approximately 10 key customersSupport day-to-day accounting activities and month-end closeQualifications:Bachelor’s degree highly preferred0–2 years of accounting experience; more experienced staff-level candidates are also welcomeProficient in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables (highly preferred)Experience with Sage 100 is a plus, but any ERP system experience is acceptableStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsWhy Join Us?Opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience across multiple functionsSupportive team environmentExposure to a smaller division, allowing for broader responsibilities and learning Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
