Job description: Staff Accountant (Temporary 3 Months plus)Onsite | Huntington Beach, CA$30 – $35/hr. | 32 Hours/Week to start and will move up to 40 hours/weekWe’re seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant for a 3-month+ onsite temporary assignment in Huntington Beach. This role supports the accounting team during a busy period. Ideal forsomeone organized, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.Key Duties:
- Assist AP/AR with invoices, receipts, vouchers, and deposits
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end close
- Create reports, including monthly rep commissions
- Maintain organized records, scan, file, and mail vendor checks
- Daily cash reporting and support customer accounts
- Provide general support to the accounting team
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance is preferred
- 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience
- Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup/pivot tables)
- Manufacturing industry is a plus
- Experience with any large ERP system is preferred
- Solid experience with AR, AP, General Ledger, and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must be comfortable working 32 hours per week onsite
