Office Environment: Professional and collaborative office environment with a team-focused approach.Salary: $60,000 – $75,000, depending on experience, with an excellent benefits package.Position Overview: The Staff Accountant will support the finance department by performing a variety of accounting tasks essential for month-end closings, account reconciliations, and financial accuracy. This role requires extensive experience with NetSuite to manage financial data effectively and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately within NetSuite
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank and balance sheet accounts
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial reports and maintain compliance with GAAP
- Conduct variance analysis and assist with budget monitoring
- Provide support for audits by organizing documentation and data
- Maintain organized financial records and support internal controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, with mandatory proficiency in NetSuite
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a high attention to detail
- Knowledge of GAAP and best accounting practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
