Job description: Attention existing Staff Accountants!
Our client is seeking a solid Staff Accountant to assist with the Accounting Close, Journal Entries, and Financial Statements for their small sized Accounting Department. Candidates with QuickBooks and Advanced Excel will be ideal for this role. Their office is located near Montclair, NJ and the client is offering a Hybrid work schedule. Salary: approx. $65-75k
Near Montclair, NJ – HYBRIDResponsibilities:
- Perform Month end close duties
- Prepare Journal Entries and Intercompany transactions
- Perform General Ledger transactions and Financial Statement analysis
- Perform AP, AR, and Bank Reconciliations
- Assist with Tax Prep and 1099’s
- Assist with Audit
Skills Needed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, required
- QuickBooks experience, required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
Expected salary: $65000 – 75000 per year
