Work Authorization: No C2C or SponsorshipThe A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant. Ideal candidates will have prior experience with month-end close, sales & use tax, and reconciliation.Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of month-end close, including posing journal entries
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Maintain financial reporting including preparing, uploading, and reconciling forms
- Manage ROU & Capital Leases
- Assist with the preparing of forecasts for budgeting
- Assist with fixed asset management
- Prepare consolidated financial statements
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation Required:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
Experience Required:
- 2+ years of general accounting experience
- Experience with month-end close, including posting journal entries
- Exposure to sales & use tax
- Experience with bank reconciliations
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
