Job description: We’re partnering with a private equity backed company located in Atlanta on an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant. This is a newly created role, offering the chance to make an immediate impact and grow with the organization. Our client is seeking a motivated professional with a couple of years of experience in either public accounting or industry, ready to take the next step in their career.Responsibilities:Prepare journal entriesMaintain and update all prepaid expense schedulesReconcile GL accounts and investigate any discrepanciesPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review the P&L accountsConduct variance analyses to monitor trendsPrepare financial reportsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting2+ years of experiencePublic accounting and/ or GL accounting experience
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.

Expected salary: $70000 – 80000 per year
