Sr. Manager Procurement – Professional services

- Lead the development and execution of professional services category strategies to establish a world class organization and supply base to create a competitive advantage.
- Partner with executive leadership to create a Sourcing vision and strategy that aligns with the needs of the business while meeting financial and operational control objectives.
- Facilitation of Procurement policies and processes, ensuring that project teams and stakeholders understand and adhere to them under governance processes.
- Leverage and maximize fit for purpose procurement process solutions, including the utilization of world class digital solution, and use of business process outsourcing.
- Accountable for driving annual savings across Professional services categories.
- Strong decision maker surrounding multi-million-dollar contracts and agreements and major policies.
- Ability to collaborate in a global cross functional matrixed environment, including ability to influence, negotiate and manage stakeholder interests/expectations.
- Engage with executive leadership in key supplier relationships.
- Cultivate a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Benchmark industry best practices and continuously advance procurement capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree; MBA desirable. CPM preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ industry-related experience including five years in a sourcing leadership role.
- Proven experience managing a global team within a matrixed environment.
- Ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate across the network and build credibility
- Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- In-depth knowledge of complex contracting and pricing models across Professional services categories.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including power point presentations.
- Ability to work and get results in ambiguous and complex situations.
- Strong business acumen
- Seasoned negotiator with strong negotiation skills, vendor relationship management, and contract negotiation experience.
- Strong project management skills to drive projects to closure.
- Travel of 10%-25% including global travel.
