Responsibilities
The Senior Manager for the Mayo Clinic Platform Orchestrate Program will be a key leader driving research-focused, data-enabled partnerships within the life sciences and biopharmaceutical sectors. This individual will be responsible for overseeing complex, translational research initiatives that integrate real-world data, artificial intelligence, and clinical expertise to accelerate discovery and development.
In this highly cross-functional role, the Senior Manager will lead program operations, manage strategic biopharma relationships, and work closely with clinicians, data scientists, and platform engineers to co-develop impactful, scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in biomedical or clinical research, exceptional project and account management skills, and a demonstrated ability to navigate the intersection of science, technology, and healthcare innovation. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational execution, and scientific fluency to deliver measurable value for external partners and internal stakeholders alike.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Solution Development and Lifecycle Management
- Responsible for establishing business requirements, user requirements, and the associated development roadmap for the transformational solution
- Ensure delivery of transformational solution in alignment with business goals
- Lead cross-functional team, including medical staff, to optimize workflows through the development of AI and digital tools
- Advocate for end user experience through market analysis, key opinion leader input, and data driven discovery and development methods
- Oversee the lifecycle of the transformational solution ensuring solution delivery is on time and within budget
- Responsible for ensuring that all business and user requirements are achieved
Stakeholder Management
- Manage internal stakeholders as well as external partners and vendors to ensure OKRs and solution requirements are met
- Represents Mayo in a positive light with external partners and vendors
- Works collaboratively across all Mayo departmental domains and business partners including Practice, Education, Research, MCS, MCP, International, etc. to ensure business needs and requirements are met
- Manage internal partnerships input/support for distribution, regulatory and quality
Strategy and Alignment
- Support the continued evolution of the transformational strategy and value proposition
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the solution by cultivating and maintaining a detailed knowledge of relevant market trends, economic drivers, user and technical buying influences, the competitive landscape, and the transformational points of differentiation
- Drive alignment between the transformational department and Mayo Clinic Platform activities, while ensuring the end-user needs are met
- Communicate the transformational vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree (business, communications, advertising, marketing, technology, health care)
- 10+ years of experience with 5+ years of management experience in health care or business.
- Experience with the implementation of transformational solutions including the application of AI and other digital tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with medical professionals.
- Demonstrable management and leadership experience
- Experience leading in complex, matrixed healthcare organizations
- Experience in managing teams and the ability to work and collaborate across teams
- Experience in managing complex projects
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing external partners and vendors
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work proactively with internal teammates and external clients
- Excellent communication (oral/written/presentation) skills
