We are currently seeking a self-motivated Sr. Human Resources Generalist with positive, engagement and collaborative energy to join our team and support the continued growth of the New Hampshire Facility.The Sr. Human Resources Generalist primary responsibility is to manage the day-to-day, full-cycle human resource support and ensure compliance with the human resource policies and procedures, employee relations, compensation, training and state and federal labor law.We encourage you to submit a resume with salary requirements.Job DescriptionESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES – include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides consultation and support to Executives, Supervisors and Managers regarding the correct application of company policy; performance management, discipline; coaching; works with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
  • Protects the interests of both the employees and the company in accordance with policies, governmental laws, and regulations.
  • Ensures all federal, state, local laws, and corporate HR-related compliance matters are proactively managed, including but not limited to ADA., EEO and FMLA programs.
  • Key member of Safety Committee and collaborates with Safety Manager to report, maintain and monitor all workers’ compensation case files; follows-up on open cases.
  • Interview candidates with hiring manager(s) to provide input and guidance in the talent selection process.
  • Prepare, coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding.
  • Manage and executes open direct labor orders with staffing agencies.
  • Assist with Payroll by reviewing timesheets and editing punches for Full-Time employees and temp agency timesheet submissions via Paycom.
  • Conducts internal investigations into employee complaints and works closely with Director of HR for resolution.
  • Manages employees leave of absences including personal, medical and FMLA/CFRA.
  • Assists with the development and recommends human resources policies and procedures as needed.
  • Prepares terminations documentation and conducts exit interviews.
  • Updates the HRIS system (Paycom) with payroll status change forms.
  • Process unemployment claims and wage orders accordingly.
  • Process to ensure timely and accurate processing of HR paperwork (for example, status changes, merit increases, transfer forms and termination forms).
  • Assist employees with questions and interpretation regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Employee advocate for all employment matters.
  • Maintain employee’s confidential personnel folders.
  • Manage training programs and ensure employees are in compliance with training.
  • Maintains human resource knowledge with state and federal law by attending webinars, seminars, and conferences.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all personnel issues and information.
  • Gathers and analyzes HR data and prepares HR reports as needed.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Educational Background:

  • Associate degree in human resources or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of human resources experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of human resources experience (Preferred).

Certifications:

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification (Preferred).

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience utilizing an HRIS/Timekeeping system, preferably Paycom.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferred).
  • Extensive experience in employee relations, with a strong ability to mediate, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive employee relations across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce company policies and procedures effectively and consistently at all levels of management.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to anticipate and strategically plan for changing business needs.
  • Experience in managing benefits administration and open enrollment.
  • Knowledge and application of labor law compliance at the state and federal levels, including ADA, EEO, FMLA, CFRA, LOA, COBRA, etc.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence and advise management on HR-related matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with a focus on fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.

Analytical Skills:

  • Proactively recognizes risks and utilizes appropriate resources to achieve results, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be physically able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to walk up and down stairs repeatedly and walk extended distances as needed. As well as the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
