Job description: We are looking for a Staff Accountant (3-Month contract) with a reputable company in Burlington NCWhat You’ll Get:

What We Want:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or work experience in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:· Accurately enters specified accounts payables into the accounting software
· Accurately post journal entries for all companies
· Assist in preparing financial reports for all companies using appropriate accounting principles and accurate entries
· Balance accounts receivable for all divisions of the company
· Apply accounts receivable remits for assigned divisions
· Oversee scanning and depositing of checks
· Reconcile balance sheet accounts, verify daily bank activity to the general ledger
· Assist with month-end collections closeouts
· Balance Debtor Cash Deposits to Artiva Batches Daily
· Order supplies, match purchase orders to invoices for all purchases
· Maintain files and storage of files
· Provide auditors, Controller, and CFO with information when needed
· Reconcile appropriate bank statements in a timely manner
