Finance & AccountingJob Summary:The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and other accounting statements and reports including management reports. In addition, he or she will review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.Job Description:Job Responsibilities:
- Assists, prepares and reviews monthly journal entries and month-end analyses.
- Assists and prepares various exhibits and commentary required for reports issued to management and government agencies. Coordinates typing, proofreading, issuance and filing of reports.
- Prepares and reviews analyses of various account balances and maintains files of supporting documentation.
- Prepares written procedures on job responsibilities.
- Assists with special projects, year-end activities and related duties.
- Prepares and reviews bank account reconciliations.
- Evaluates and recommends improvements to accounting procedures and systems.
- Provides guidance to junior accounting staff.
Successful incumbents will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
- CPA Preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions
- Ability to function effectively while meeting deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and administrative skills
- Efficient with Microsoft applications
- Familiarity of SAP accounting systems is a plus
The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $72,900 – $96,235The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.In addition to base pay, an incentive program is available to all full-time employees, and a comprehensive benefits package including two medical plan options, a health savings plan with a company contribution and a match, dental and vision benefits, a well-being incentive program, 401(k) Plan which provides a protentional of receiving between 10% and 13% of employer’s contribution, life and disability insurance, paid time off programs and much more!
