Job description: Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a multi-state community of faith who is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team on a contract / contract to hire basis.Title: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Hybrid – Washington, DC
Salary: $75KKey Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable (AP)
- Perform monthly General Ledger (GL) entries
- Conduct account reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely financial data management
- Multi-task and manage various accounting duties efficiently
- Problem-solve and address financial discrepancies independently
- Maintain attention to detail in all accounting tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience with Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP) and Concur preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Software Skills:
- Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP)
- Concur
Candidates who possess experience with both Great Plains and Concur are highly preferred. However, applicants with experience in either software are also encouraged to apply.IND123
