Job description: Senior Staff Accountant AtlantaSalary to $80kOur consumer product client in Atlanta is currently seeking a Senior Staff Accountant with experience in General Ledger and month-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries for month-end closing
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Analyze and interpret financial data
- Maintain and update accounting records
- Assist with annual audits
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in General Ledger Accounting
- Experience with month-end closing processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
