Senior People Business Partner
Company: Justworks
- Act as a strategic HR partner to client group leadership teams, understanding their business goals and connecting actionable People strategies to the success of the business, with a focus on scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Coach leaders through complex talent-related decisions including workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, change management, and leadership effectiveness.
Leveraging Data:
- Utilize data and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and make recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.
Change Leadership:
- Serve as a champion of change in periods of transformation, developing and executing change management plans that enhance adoption, communication, and resilience.
- Guide and enable business leaders to confidently lead and navigate through organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication to Justworkers.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging:
- Embed DEIB principles into team-level strategies and act as an advocate for inclusive culture and equitable talent practices.
Talent Development:
- Co-lead cross-functional talent initiatives, including leadership development, high-potential identification, and strategic capability building.
- Drive performance management and feedback culture by partnering with leaders to set clear and consistent expectations, calibrate talent, and embed accountability mechanisms.
People Team Partnership:
- Work closely with the People team Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Operations, Talent & Organizational Development, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Workplace) to deliver programs that attract, engage, and retain top talent.
- Proactively identify, develop, and share best practices, tools, and insights with fellow People Business Partners to continuously elevate the team’s capabilities and foster a culture of shared learning and expertise.
- Lead and provide guidance on critical cross-functional people initiatives, collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects that impact the broader organization.
Employee Relations:
- Support business leaders and Justworkers in addressing a wide range of complex employee relations matters, including performance concerns and policy violations, with expertise and empathy, in close partnership with the Employee Relations team.
Administrative:
- Perform other related duties, including administrative tasks needed to ensure timely execution of People team-related responsibilities.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in HR/HRBP, including demonstrated success directly partnering with and influencing executive-level leadership
- Proven experience developing partnerships with business leaders, particularly in helping them lead an organization through significant change, and during a period of realignment and growth.
- Demonstrated success operating in a high-growth, rapidly evolving company with complex global distributed teams.
- Experience leading talent strategy, org design, and cross-functional people initiatives in a matrixed organization.
- Ability to coach and communicate across all levels of the organization; up, down, and across
- Strong analytical and operational thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, solve complex problems, and build scalable, strategic solutions
- Ability to navigate confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Experience working with and optimizing HR systems
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of regulations, laws, and industry best practices to ensure compliance with all applicable international, federal, state, and local employment laws
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $155,500.00 to $178,825.00 per year.#LI-Hybrid#LI-KK1Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.
