We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Online Enrollment Advisor to join our team of dedicated professionals.   • Strategic Enrollment Guidance:
  • Proactively engage with prospective students, utilizing your deep understanding of online learning and the University of Miami’s unique offerings to provide tailored advice and support.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective students, exploring their academic and professional goals, assessing their needs, and guiding them towards programs that align with their aspirations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on your portfolio of online programs, staying abreast of curriculum updates, faculty expertise, and career pathways to provide accurate and insightful information.
  • Relationship Management & Cultivation:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with prospective students, acting as a trusted advisor throughout their enrollment journey.
  • Employ a consultative approach, actively listening to prospective students’ needs and concerns, and providing personalized solutions to address their individual circumstances.
  • Represent the University of Miami and the Online Learning Division with the highest level of professionalism and integrity, fostering a positive and welcoming environment for prospective students.
  • Application & Enrollment Facilitation:
  • Guide prospective students through the complexities of the application process, providing clear and concise instructions, answering questions, and offering support every step of the way.
  • Proactively monitor application progress, ensuring that all necessary documents are submitted and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth and efficient application review process, advocating for your prospective students and facilitating timely communication of admissions decisions.
  • Data-Driven Optimization:
  • Leverage Salesforce and Slate CRM systems to effectively manage your pipeline of prospective students, track interactions, and monitor progress towards enrollment goals.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, and contribute to data-driven decision-making within the enrollment team.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on your enrollment activities, providing valuable insights to the Director of Enrollment Management and contributing to team-wide strategic planning.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration:
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing best practices, participating in team meetings, and supporting colleagues in achieving shared goals.
  • Actively engage in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying abreast of best practices in enrollment management and online education.
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative strategies to enhance the enrollment experience for prospective students.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.CORE QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration or a related field preferred.Certification and Licensing:Experience:7+ years of experience in admissions or enrollment advising, preferably in a higher education setting with a focus on online programs. Demonstrated success in building relationships with prospective students and achieving enrollment targets.Experience working with adult learners and non-traditional students preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Technology & Data Analysis: Experience with Salesforce and Slate CRM systems is highly preferred. Proficiency in using technology to manage workflows, track data, and analyze trends.
  • Knowledge & Skills: Deep understanding of the enrollment management process, including best practices in recruitment, application review, and student support. Familiarity with online learning environments and the unique needs of online learners. Knowledge of financial aid processes and policies.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: A collaborative and team-oriented approach to work, with the ability to contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of marketing and recruitment strategies for online programs.
  • Active membership in one or more relevant professional organizations such as NACAC, NAGAP, AACRAO, UPCEA, or EDUCAUSE.
