Responsibilities
A NIH funded postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Laboratory of Cardiovascular Research Center at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. The position will be to help understand the molecular and ionic mechanisms leading to coronary dysfunction in diabetes. The applicant must hold a Ph.D. with experience in cardiovascular research. The successful candidate should be self-motivated with peer-reviewed publications and is expected to work effectively in vascular pathophysiology using patch clamp recording, video microscopy and molecular biology techniques. Qualifications
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
