Job description: Job Summary:The Regional Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and execution of janitorial and maintenance services at multiple client locations. This role requires constant travel between various facilities, ensuring all centers meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance, in line with company policies and client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, excellent organizational skills, and experience managing multiple sites and teams.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Operations Across Multiple Centers: Manage day-to-day operations for janitorial and maintenance services in several facilities, ensuring all service contracts are executed efficiently.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support on-site staff, including janitors, maintenance technicians, and site supervisors, to maintain high performance and quality standards.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction at all centers.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements. Ensure that cleaning, repair, and upkeep are performed at or above expected levels.
- Staff Training and Development: Ensure that all employees are properly trained, certified (if applicable), and equipped to perform their duties. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Budget Management: Manage and monitor regional budgets, controlling costs while ensuring quality service delivery. Recommend and implement cost-effective solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all locations. Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company policies and safety procedures.
- Travel: This position requires 100% travel to various locations, so the candidate must be willing and able to travel frequently within the region or beyond.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational challenges, including staffing shortages, equipment failures, or unexpected client requests, with speed and efficiency.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on regional performance, including financials, staffing, and operational issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a management role, preferably in janitorial, maintenance, or facility management services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to oversee multiple locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and staff.
- Experience in budget management and cost control.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance regulations.
- Willingness to travel 100% of the time, including overnight stays.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel across different regions.
