Rebel Wilson shows off weight loss in cheeky new photos


Aussie actor Rebel Wilson has flaunted her incredible weight loss and shown off a new hairdo in a series of cheeky new photos.

Wilson shared a series of posts from her trip to the salon with Los Angeles hair stylist Nicole Leal.

“Oh, I’m just here with the best stylist in Los Angeles, Ms Nicole Leal!” Wilson said in an Instagram video. She also shared a photo of her newly-styled hair, and another selfie of herself posing with perfume bottles.

Wilson, 40, has shared a series of glam selfies throughout 2020 after reportedly shedding 20kg in what she’s called her ‘Year of Health’.

The actor has undergone a radical health overhaul this year, after committing to making major changes at the start of 2020.

“OK so for me 2020 is going to be called ‘The Year of Health’,” Wilson wrote on Instagram.

“So I put on the athleisure and went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food, which is going to be hard after the holidays I’ve just had but I’m going to do it!”

Since that time, Wilson has reportedly lost 20kg — an achievement she credits to using the Mayr Method. The actor said she spent time at the ViaMayr wellness centre in 2019.

The method involves eating alkaline foods at a slower pace and chewing each mouthful 30 times.

Wilson’s personal trainer, Jono Castano Acero, also told E! earlier this year he’d designed a six day a week workout program for her.

Acero said he encourages his clients to workout for 45 minutes a day, adding that “results come through consistency”.
