The Project Officer Opportunity:

The Project Officer role supports the delivery of sustainability and training initiatives, particularly through a Supply Chain Sustainability School. The Project Officer role involves planning and administering training events, managing partner relationships, updating digital content, and contributing to marketing and outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Plan training schedules, logistics, bookings, and trainer liaison.
+ Monitor and report on business plans and KPIs.
+ Support budget management with Operations and Programmes Managers.
+ Track engagement in training programmes.
+ Develop learning pathways and automation journeys.
+ Handle admin tasks: reports, meetings, notes, and diaries.
+ Create presentations and promotional materials.
+ Promote training through marketing channels.
+ Provide customer support for School members.
+ Build and manage relationships with School Partners.
+ Attend and support training sessions and events.
+ Represent the School at partner and public events.

About you:

Proven project management skills, alongside basic marketing and commercial acumen, are essential for the successful applicant. Specifically, candidates should demonstrate:

+ Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish and meet targets.
+ Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration skills.
+ Good grasp of commercial drivers and data-informed decision-making.
+ Clear communicator with strong writing and presentation skills.
+ Skilled in WordPress, email marketing, budgeting, and planning.
+ Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
+ Proactive mindset with a “can-do” attitude.
+ Desirable: interest in sustainability, construction knowledge, and line management.
+ Bonus: experience in learning material development, event planning, and fast-paced marketing roles.
