Responsibilities
- Calling and scheduling patients and creating orders for Annual Wellness visits
- Scheduling patients and uploading medical records
- Billing nursing homes and metric tracking
- Assist with initiatives related to No Show and utilizing tactics to contact chronic no showers for appt reminders and update appointments as needed
- Health Maintenance work ques – deferring orders declined by patients and cancelling orders for deceased patients
- Primary Care Provider Referral Line – intake calls of patients looking to establish care and help in selecting a provider and then schedule appt
- Other duties as assigned
Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic computer/keyboard knowledge. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work in conjunction with staff in a supportive way to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Ability to address difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent required. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Proficient computer operation of various software (Word, Excel, ACT!, PowerPoint, Outlook, DayBreak EAP, Internet ). Previous medical office experience preferred. Secondary education or equivalent work experience preferred. Additional languages preferred.

Compensation Detail
$18.11 – $24.48 / hour; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
