We are looking forward to your application!Deine AufgabenThe intern supports the assembly and optimization of spare parts kits for preventive maintenance (PM). This role involves hands-on work in the warehouse, picking and assembling kits to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.Additionally, the intern will contribute to a process improvement initiative, analyzing current packaging methods, identifying inefficiencies, and developing solutions to enhance warehouse handling, shipping efficiency, and customer experience.Key Responsibilities

  • Pick parts and assemble spare parts kits to fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work with the warehouse team to understand and improve kit-building workflows.
  • Assist in general parts picking and warehouse operations as needed.
  • Analyze how spare parts kits are currently packed and identify areas for improvement.
  • Research and test different packing methods, materials, and layouts to find the most efficient solutions.
  • Consider warehouse efficiency (how easily these kits can be stored and handled) and customer experience (how the kits are received and unpacked).
  • Provide insights to the sales and business development team to help shape future packaging strategies.
  • Present final recommendations for more efficient, cost-effective, and visually appealing packaging solutions.

Dein ProfilBasic Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in climate-controlled warehouse environment with hands-on tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in logistics, packaging design/innovation, and warehouse operations.
