Responsibilities
Leads development, planning and execution on complex and/or enterprise-wide compensation initiatives and serves as a primary point of contact for the compensation function in support of Compensation and Total Rewards leadership. Has full understanding of the Total Rewards vision and strategy and is responsible for leading execution on compensation strategic initiatives. Demonstrated agility in working with rapidly developing project scope and plan. Synthesizes and drives solutions between cross-functional stakeholders and navigates established governance processes, including ability to prepare materials for and present at leadership and board level committees in support of Total Rewards and Compensation leadership. Provides direction, coaching, training, and mentorship for team members and colleagues, as appropriate, in alignment with compensation best practices and organizational policy and practices, including partnering with HR colleagues and business stakeholders to develop and adjust policies and practices to meet the needs of the evolving organization.
Acts as an enterprise-wide subject matter expert for the compensation function, including ability to consult and deliver insights, design, model, and implement new and existing pay program(s) and practices. Focuses on providing consultant-level compensation services on the most complex compensation issues. Leads large scale reorganizations and equity reviews, which may include conducting and/or overseeing job creation/evaluations and other core compensation functions.
Supports the compensate and total rewards leadership in driving opportunities to create efficiencies within the compensation team and across the total rewards function with a mindset of continuous process improvement.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field. Eight years of related experience required, five of which must be specific to compensation experience. Experience with other function aspects of Total Rewards preferred. Certification preferred. Advanced Excel skills to perform and present complex compensation data analytics.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Experience supervising exempt staff
- Ability to provide expert level compensation support
- Knowledge of Federal and State regulations related to compensation
- Effective presentation skills
- Ability to provide training and mentor, coach and provide consistent direction to team
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and to respond to changing demands from multiple sources
- Ability to follow-through, meet deadlines, anticipate requirements, and build relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups including attorneys, physicians, patients, allied health staff, researchers, and vendors
- Ability to lead in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team through influence and drive continuous process improvement using exceptional change management skills
- Supports a culture of excellence by developing, mentoring and coaching the team with positive approach
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of physician compensation structures, programs, and administration of physician compensation plans
- Knowledge of key regulatory requirements surrounding physician compensation, compensation models that may include variable components (such as RVU, quality, or other metrics)
- Experience providing analysis for physician compensation structures that may require specific needs by specialty.
- Experience working with physician leaders to assist in compensation-related topics preferred.
