Job description: Overview:GDC IT Solutions is seeking a hybrid Online Training Developer in the Mechanicsburg, PA area. Position Overview:Position OverviewAs an Online Training Developer you will be responsible for designing, updating, and supporting online training content for the Department of the Navy’s Consolidated Card Program Management Division (CCPMD). This hybrid position, based in Mechanicsburg, PA, combines in-office collaboration and remote work to develop, maintain, and deliver high-quality e-learning solutions. You will work closely with government and contractor staff to ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and consistency of training programs supporting Navy charge card operations. Responsibilities:Develop, update, and maintain online training materials and tests using Adobe Captivate, Microsoft PowerPoint, and related toolsRecord and edit training audio in a quiet environment; equipment providedEnsure consistency across training and testing materials in terms of format, visuals, difficulty, and coverageParticipate in team meetings to translate business and policy updates into training contentMaintain and manage a large training library (600+ Captivate lessons, 1000+ PowerPoint products)Review and update training materials and certification questions annuallyUpload and publish training materials using web hosting tools; monitor and troubleshoot basic website issuesServe as liaison to webmasters and customer teams for web platform transitions and data migrationResearch training best practices to improve delivery and design of learning productsProvide user support via help desk (calls/emails), assisting with training access, account creation, and general inquiriesUse spreadsheets, databases, and other software to log operational activities and research changesSupport process automation initiatives, including pilots using Microsoft Power AutomateAssist with uploading transactional data to preserve historical charge card program records Minimum Qualifications:Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background check3+ years of experience developing training using Adobe CaptivateStrong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office toolsExperience managing and navigating large document and training librariesDemonstrated ability to learn and apply complex policy informationSkilled in using web hosting tools to post and manage training contentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong time-management, organizational, and project management abilitiesProactive, inquisitive, and comfortable working collaboratively and independently Preferred Experience:Preferred ExperienceExperience with financial management or government charge card programsProficiency with Microsoft Power Automate or other Microsoft Power toolsFamiliarity with Microsoft SharePointBachelor’s degreeWhat We Do:What We Do:Working for GDC means you will be at the forefront of the technological world.
