Our client is seeking a high-achieving candidate to join our creative and dynamic organization.You will be working on multiple projects that support strategy for our eCommerce site. This role is highly visible to the business; you will partner with several Director level executives.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Running data and recommending if it makes financial and business sense to run promotions for specific products
- Pricing analysis of current product performance
- Competitor analysis of products
- Manipulating data dumps- ability to utilize vlookups and pivot tables
- Retail math to determine if we should onboard new products
- Project Coordination
This is a 6 month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension or conversion to direct hire in the Atlanta area for you to gain exposure to the retail world by joining this upbeat, collaborative group! Enjoy a dynamic and high-energy team members, and the ability to learn and execute business skills. You must live locally to Atlanta, but can work remotely or go into the office.REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 2+ years of professional work experience in either a Merchandising or Pricing or ECommerce or Financial Analyst role
- Experience writing SQL queries from scratch
- Experience managing large sets of data
- Data Analysis experience – highly analytical, comfortable working with numbers, able to provide a data-driven rationale
- MS Excel – Utilize Excel Daily – proficient with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables – in the interview, you will take a live Excel eval on a PC to test your proficiency.
- Ability to learn Retail Math (Markup, Margin, Sell Through, Initial Markup, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Industrial Engineering, etc.)
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Retail experience
