We look forward to hearing from you!Job Title: Okta Desktop TechLocation: RemoteDuration: 3 monthsRate $25 to $28 /hr on W2Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Okta Desktop MFA Deployment Specialist to lead the migration of several hundred users to Okta Multi-Factor Authentication for desktop access. The role involves coordinating and executing the deployment through virtual meetings, providing hands-on guidance, and ensuring a seamless transition with a high-touch, “white glove” approach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting 25-minute virtual sessions, guiding users through the six-step setup process, and addressing any troubleshooting needs related to authentication or push notifications. Experience with MFA deployment, excellent communication skills, and a focus on user experience are essential.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual meetings with users for MFA deployment.
  • Lead a structured 25-minute session to deploy Okta Desktop MFA and walk users through the six-step setup process.
  • Assist users with push notifications and troubleshoot issues including one-time password setup and wireless network problems.
  • Ensure a smooth migration for users already connected via VPN with TCBK.
  • Support users in troubleshooting issues with home wireless connections, particularly autocorrect or Wi-Fi configuration problems.
  • Provide clear instructions and support for users during and after deployment, ensuring they understand the MFA process.
  • Follow up with users to confirm successful setup and resolve any post-deployment issues promptly.
  • Maintain documentation of deployment activities and user feedback to improve the process. Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with MFA deployment, preferably with Okta or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills for virtual, high-touch support.
  • Ability to troubleshoot authentication issues, including push notification and password setup challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage scheduling and follow-ups.
  • Comfortable conducting virtual training and support sessions. This role offers an opportunity to ensure a smooth, secure, and user-friendly MFA transition for our organization’s workforce, emphasizing a personalized, high-touch deployment approach.

Expected salary: $25 – 28 per hour
