Apply today and take the next step in your career with Attain Finance! Responsibilities:Position OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Manager of Desktop Services to join our IT team. In this role, you will manage and maintain the desktop infrastructure, including laptops, branch desktops, printers, peripheral devices, and mobile devices. This role requires strong technical management skills and problem-solving abilities. You will oversee six direct reports and be responsible for overseeing devices across 600 branches in the US and Canada as well as hardware in our offices in Greenville, SC, Wichita, KS, and hundreds of remote employees.What you will be doing:
- Providing vision and direction for desktop management based on the company’s’ needs and plans
- Developing and implementing long-term strategies for desktop management, including inventory management, equipment refresh plans, and disaster recovery tactics to ensure business continuity and alignment with company goals
- Ensuring desktop environment is following company policies and procedures
- Managing a team of 6 IT Technicians, including setting performance goals, conducting regular reviews, providing mentorship and training opportunities, and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Acting as project manager for department initiatives including planning, resource allocation, timeline development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery
- Owning responsibility for over 6,000 devices throughout a distributed environment
Qualifications:What you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop management or a similar role, previous people management strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, Intune, Group Policy, SCCM, Autopilot, Azure AD-joined and hybrid devices
- Experience in managing device configurations, deploying updates, managing user accounts, and troubleshooting system issues while ensuring compliance with organizational security policies
- General knowledge of Desktop, Printer, and configuration management best practices
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar are preferred
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and support to end-users
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
Base Salary: $80,000 – $125,000The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.All full-time salaried employees are eligible for the following benefits, starting on day one: Flexible Paid Time Off Program, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, and other voluntary coverages.
