Our client base is growing, and our existing clients are engaging the firm across the spectrum of our services offerings.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MSP IT Help Desk Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to our clients, including troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues. This position requires on-site support as necessary and candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Provide advanced technical support to clients via phone, email, and on-site visits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Monitor and maintain client networks and systems.
- Document all client interactions and technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Provide on-site support as necessary, including troubleshooting and repair of hardware and software systems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an IT help desk or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with remote desktop support tools. ConnectWise products (Manage, Automate and ScreenConnect preferred)
- Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
- Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience working in a managed services environment is a plus.
- Preferred Industry certifications: Microsoft O365/Azure, Comptia (A+,Network+, etc.), MCSA
- Office 365 Experience including O365 / Azure / Intune Administration; User, Group and Exchange Management, including Device Enrollment and Troubleshooting.
- Ability to provide technical support coverage starting at 7-8am
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Lift and move equipment, such as computer systems and peripherals, that may weigh up to 50lbs.
- Be able to work in tight spaces, such as under desks, to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Capable of lifting 50lbs.
