An exciting opportunity has arisen within our new Television and Media programme that spans Farnham campus and unique satellite provision at The Maidstone Studios, a busy commercial broadcast facility.

We are seeking a dynamic Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join the BA (Hons) Television and Media Production course at Farnham campus. You will be a highly motivated academic with the ability to enhance student experience and aspirations through an innovative approach to learning and teaching. Working as part of a dedicated team, focused on achieving exemplary student outcomes, your duties will include year leadership, related course administration, curriculum development and assessment, marketing and student recruitment, ensuring that the delivery of the course is carried out in accordance with the mission, policies and regulations of the University and School strategic plans. This appointment provides the right candidate with the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development and progression of this well-respected provision.

To be a contender for this exciting position you will have solid production experience in either film or television, a relevant BA and PG degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience. Experience of teaching at undergraduate level as well as of curriculum development and academic and administrative management would be a distinct advantage.

You will be an inspirational practitioner, a team player and be interested in applying new technologies to learning and teaching, as well as developing these in a practice environment.
