University of Bristol job as Lecturer in World Cinemas 1

The role The University of Bristol’s School of Arts seeks to appoint a Lecturer in World Cinemas commencing 1st January 2022.

What will you be doing?

You will contribute to the Department of Film and Television’s very successful BA and MA programmes in Film and Television and its existing strengths in film and television theory, history, criticism, and film practice. You will have proven experience, and a research and teaching track record, in world and global cinemas beyond Europe, for example, Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and the Global South, or black and indigenous cinemas.

You should apply if

You have excellent teaching skills developed through experience of HE teaching on undergraduate programmes.

The successful candidate will have built up a strong profile, demonstrable through their teaching, research, publications, and grant capture, or, if just beginning their career, will have implementable plans for future research and grant capture.
