Responsibilities
Internal advisor responsible for assessing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating leadership and organization development initiatives to support Leader Assessment and Development (LAD) and Mayo Clinic’s vision and strategic goals. Recommends appropriate interventions to address gaps, enhance performance, and achieve organizational goals. Drives results in alignment with the culture and customer needs. Creates solutions to problems of unusual complexity which requires a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. Proactive advisor to practice, business, or shield. Subject matter expert related to leadership or organization development. In partnership with HR Advisory team, may engage with customers, practice, shields on ongoing basis to effectively identify or deliver effective performance support solutions. May serve as program/project leader sharing in-depth knowledge and aligning best practice solutions to meet customer and stakeholder needs. Applies leadership/organization development/human resources knowledge to the work. May engage with broader Mayo Clinic projects and initiatives supporting organizational priorities. Collaborates and influences across centers and sites to build world class talent and leadership to support Mayo Clinic’s vision and mission.
This position is a limited tenure position with an anticipated end date of one year. This position is 100% remote; can work from anywhere from the U.S.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required with 6 years of professional, relevant experience in one of the following: training/learning and development, leadership or organizational development, talent management, succession planning, or human resources.Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred. Healthcare experience desired. Prefer HR certification: SPHR, PHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or ACC. Experience in internal or external consulting roles helpful.
