Responsibilities
Produces high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Diagnostic Radiology. Requires a high level of expertise in the use of all equipment in the area. Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths, and take call as required by the department. The Lead Technologists provides leadership, builds commitment, educates and trains personnel in the work area and generates feedback.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited radiography program. Radiologic Technologist experience of 1 to 2 years required.
Additional Qualifications
Associate degree preferred. Organized, efficient, and multifunctional Ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours and shift lengths that may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends if requested.
License or Certification
CPR Certification required. ARRT certification and Florida license required.
