Job description: Title: Lead AWS Cloud EngineerDuration: 6+ months of Contract with possible extension of hireLocation : Candidate should be based out in EST and CST time zone only(Current position is remote but should be ready to travel to San Jose, CA as and when required)ContractKey Responsibilities:

Minimum 14+ Year of Experience is required with 8+ Years of experience and 4+ Years of experience working as a Lead
Experience deploying production cloud networking and infrastructure solutions while adhering to industry-standard DevOps principles.
Experience handling SaaS and/or On-prem applications for a large customer base.
ServiceNow Experience, working with the vulnerability response module, ticket triage, building dashboards.
Experience with one or more of the public cloud providers e.g., AWS, Clienture or GCP, preferably AWS
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with configuration management tools: Ansible
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Ability to mentor junior engineers on the team, provide technical direction, perform design/code reviews, and champion engineering best practices.
5+ years of relevant industry experience with bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of Linux and bash scripting.
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation or other)
Experience with Splunk deployment, configuration, operations, and troubleshooting
Experience developing Splunk dashboards
