Full timeJob Summary:We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Junior Desktop Support Technician to provide first-level technical support for our users. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and various IT systems to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, or in person.Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for Windows and Mac systems.Set up, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers.Install and update software applications and operating systems.Support end-user requests related to printers, scanners, and other peripherals.Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions in Active Directory.Document issues, solutions, and procedures in the helpdesk ticketing system.Escalate complex problems to senior technicians or appropriate Clients.Assist with IT inventory tracking and equipment deployment.Maintain a clean and organized workspace and support area.Requirements:0-2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.Basic understanding of Windows and/or macOS environments.Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP) are a plus.Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).Exposure to remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk).Familiarity with ITIL practices or IT service management processes.
