Role Description
–Business Development
1. Contact potential companies via phone, email, etc. to generate leads and establish business sales relationships
2. Expected consistent outreach of 10-30 per day or 50-150 per week plus follow-up correspondence to set-up meetings
3. Maintain a daily log of companies contacted including business name, contact information, level of interest, and meetings set, etc.
4. Continuously update our Atlas Connect Database (SAAS Platform) and profiles to discuss leads, track projects and build out our internal factory network
5. Be proactive with potential trade/ASI shows the company should be attending and track corresponding ROI during and following event participation
–Account Management
1. Handle leads as they are provided
2. Active sourcing for client product pricing and prospective new factories. Atlas preferred factories and pricing should be implemented and maintained into the Atlas Connect database.
3. Provide support and open communication with the rest of the Atlas team to help manage projects
4. Assist as needed in creating invoices, proposals, projections and other financial reporting/tracking
–Work Structure
· 1099 Employment
· Work hours are from Monday through Friday including some required evenings (inside & outside of office with “work from home” flexibility)
· Monthly Stipend plus Commissions (5-15% of project profit)
Ideal Candidates would have the following qualifications:
- Similar work working in Sales, Procurement, Account Management or Commission type role
- Self-motivated, performance driven, persuasive, and excellent at creating and building relationships
- Specialization in product categories/industry (i.e. glass, plastic, wood, etc.)
- Comfortable working extended and flexible hours (evenings or otherwise) to communicate with overseas team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely as well as potential travel
- Experience in B2B sales or business development
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
