Project Overview Reasoning :

As part of this project, you will be tasked with developing complex user prompts that require models to solve mathematical problems incorporating multiple skill sets. These problems should go beyond basic equations to challenge models in more sophisticated ways. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating complex user prompts: These prompts should involve pairs of mathematical skills and require the model to navigate through multi-step problem-solving processes. The Reasoning prompts must be designed in such a way that the model’s responses can be thoroughly tested and annotated for errors.
  • Reviewing and annotating model responses: After the model provides a response to each prompt, you will be responsible for analyzing the steps and identifying any errors in the lReasoning ogic or calculations. You will annotate these responses to pinpoint where and why the model went wrong, providing valuable insights for improvements in its performance.
  • Error identification and correction: Once errors are found, you will document them and suggest corrections or alternative approaches. This may involve adjusting the Reasoning prompt itself to provide clearer guidance or restructuring the problem to ensure that the model can effectively apply the relevant mathematical skills.

This project will run from January 2025 to mid-January 2025, and we expect each individual to commit 3-4 hours per day to the tasks. While the project is expected to last for a few weeks, the flexibility of remote work allows you to manage your time based on your personal schedule.

Qualification Path:

To be eligible for this project, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Educational background: You must hold a PhD or Master’s degree in Mathematics. This ensures that you have the advanced knowledge and expertise needed to create complex mathematical problems and analyze the responses provided by the models.
  • Technical requirements: You must have access to a desktop or laptop computer with a stable internet connection. These tools are essential for creating the prompts, reviewing model outputs, and completing the project remotely.
