Hotel Front Desk Agent

Compensation:
$17 – $18 per hour
Responsibilities
As a Hotel Front Desk Agent, your primary duties will include:
- Guest Services:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
- Distribute room keys, assign rooms, and record credit card information accurately.
- Address guest inquiries about room rates, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Problem Solving:
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Room Readiness Coordination:
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to confirm rooms are clean, prepared, and ready for new arrivals.
- Reservations and Bookings:
- Take incoming calls, process online and in-person room booking requests, and manage reservation changes as needed.
- Bookkeeping and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all hotel guest accounts and ensure financial transactions are properly logged.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Experience: At least one year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent or a similar role (preferred).
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Skills:
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
- Confidence in answering telephone calls and addressing guest inquiries.
