Job Title: Transcription Opportunities – Federal Contract

Job Description:

Language on Demand (LOD) is seeking experienced Transcriptionists to support a federal government contract. This role requires Freelance Transcriptionist 2 transcribing both classified and unclassified materials with a strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to quality standards. The work will include transcribing investigative and administrative recordings that may feature multi-speaker dialogues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcription Accuracy: Accurately transcribe recordings, ensuring that the final documents are complete and error-free.
• Confidentiality: Safeguard all sensitive materials and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proofreading & Auditing: Proofread and audit transcripts to ensure they meet accuracy and quality standards.
• Formatting: Follow prescribed formatting guidelines and quality standards for transcript deliverables.
• E-Discovery Software: Ensure that transcripts are compatible with E-Discovery software like Freelance Transcriptionist 2TextMap or Relativity.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of transcription experience.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, with strong grammar, spelling Freelance Transcriptionist 2 , and editing abilities.
• Security Clearance: Active Tier 4 (moderate risk) or Tier 5 (high risk) security clearance required for classified work.
• Transcription Tools: Proficiency in using transcription tools such as USB foot pedals and software like GearPlayer4.
• E-Discovery Software: Experience with E-Discovery tools such as TextMap or Relativity is a plus.
• Legal Terminology: Familiarity with legal terminology is Freelance Transcriptionist 2 preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work under tight deadlines with high accuracy.
• Experience transcribing multi-speaker and complex recordings.
• Familiarity with AI transcription proofreading tools.
