Front Desk Aide – 2025

Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Aide, you will support program managers with data entry, data tracking, and general office tasks while maintaining a welcoming and organized environment. You’ll also assist in classrooms and on bus runs as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of young children in the Family Resource Center and during transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clerical Support:

  • Assist program managers with data entry and tracking.
  • Provide general office support for the Center for Developing Development (CDD) front staff.
  • Ensure timely submission of paperwork and accurate documentation.

2. Classroom and Bus Support:

  • Step in as needed to assist classroom teachers in maintaining a safe and front healthy environment for children.
  • Support the promotion of learning and play activities in classrooms.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children on bus routes.

3. Program Support:

  • Understand and follow all BBNA and Head Start policies and procedures.
  • Establish effective relationships with children, parents, staff, and community front members involved in the Head Start program.
  • Make parents feel welcome and valued as part of the program.

4. Child Safety and Advocacy:

  • Identify and report cases of child abuse or neglect in compliance with CDD procedures.
  • Help maintain a secure environment that promotes the health and safety of children.

5. Team Collaboration:

  • Actively participate in staff meetings and discussions as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and adapt to new work requirements.
  • Explore opportunities to add value to the organization and assist others in achieving related objectives.

6. Confidentiality:

  • Safeguard the integrity of the program by keeping all information gained through employment confidential, both during and after employment with BBNA.

7. Professional Development:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning by participating in Head Start child development training and relevant workshops.
  • Enroll in approved Early Childhood Education classes to enhance your skills and understanding.
