Role Overview:
As an Equity Partner at Handy Banjo, Inc., you will take a key role in the strategic direction and growth of the company. This position provides the unique opportunity to have a direct stake in the success of the business while driving decision-making processes. You will contribute to the firm’s success, actively managing client relationships, business development, financial strategies, and fostering a collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities Equity Partner
Remote:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Work closely with the managing team to set and execute the strategic vision and goals of the firm.
- Provide leadership in the development of new business strategies, market expansion, and growth opportunities.
- Client Relations & Business Development:
- Maintain and deepen relationships with key clients, ensuring a strong network within the industries we serve.
- Lead efforts to acquire new clients and grow existing business through proactive outreach, cross-selling services, and expanding market reach.
- Oversee major client contracts, negotiations, and service delivery to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure they align with the company’s strategic direction and goals.
- Lead efforts to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality within the staffing process, from recruitment to placement.
- Financial Management:
- Collaborate in setting budgets, financial forecasts, and tracking key performance indicators to meet growth objectives.
- Drive profitability by managing revenue streams, cost structures, and operational budgets.
- Contribute to strategic investment decisions and resource allocation to support business expansion.
- Team Development & Mentorship:
- Mentor and develop junior partners, staff, and consultants, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work culture.
- Provide guidance on leadership and career development for emerging talent within the firm.
- Equity Stakeholder Involvement:
- As an equity partner, participate in governance, strategic planning, and shareholder decisions.
- Contribute to the annual planning and shareholder meetings, representing the interests of both the business and the partnership group.
- Industry Leadership & Advocacy:
- Represent Handy Banjo, Inc. at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and staffing challenges, advocating for the company’s interests within the marketplace
- Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
- An MBA or advanced degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional Requirements:
- A strong professional network within the staffing and recruitment industry.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of clients while overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing financials, driving profitability, and maintaining operational excellence.
Compensation & Benefits:

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $100.00 – $101.00 per year
Expected hours: 6 per week
